The word "ex libris" is a Latin locution that can be translated as "from among the books" (RAE, 2021). These are labels or marks attached to a bibliographic asset in order to establish a sense of ownership. Its form or content displays a symbolic charge that allows to know aspects of its collectors, such as interests, affinities, trajectory and life history.
