Exodus Certificate

“Certificate Exodus 47” from Poppendorf Displaced Persons Camp in northern Germany. The certificate is printed in English and Hebrew, which says “Certificate, Holder of this No. 969 is a Maapil (illegal immigrant) of ‘Exodus 1947;’ he/she was brought by force to Germany from Haifa and is in exile on his way back to Eretz-Israel.”
