Children's comic inspired by the events of World War II. In many of these comics, both Americans and Germans were treated as if they were heroes.
With excellent planning and detailed drawing, Exploits of War (Hazañas Bélicas) portrayed personal experiences against the backdrop of war. Its creator, Boixcar, succeeded in capturing the interest of readers who were fans of the comic's theme and impressed by its detailed graphics. The scripts were also supported by Spain's dictatorial regime. In addition to World War II, some issues contained references to the Korean War, the Indochina War, the Hungarian Revolution, and conflicts in the Middle East. The comics shined a spotlight on the human values that flourish in individuals when they are placed in the hopeless situations caused by armed conflict. The sentimental nature of the story was in sharp contrast to the incredible realism of the weapons and wartime objects it featured.
