F W Woolworth & Company Ltd, Bank Hey Street, Blackpool

Woolworth's commissioned the Liverpool photographers Stewart Bale Ltd to record its new 3d and 6d seafront store around the time that it opened. It was one of the company's most impressive buildings, comprising three sales floors and two cafés on upper levels capable of accommodating over 1,600 diners.
