We see a stylised fantasy world: the whole painting is in various shades of green with patterns and colours reminiscent of the motifs and colour pallette of traditional Lithuanian textiles. The bottom of the painting is like a kind of giant two-platform temple, with a blue butterfly hovering in circles on solitary trunks on the left, higher wall, and the lower wall on the right is made of columns. Silhouettes of people bend down to pray in front of this shrine. Above them, there are lianas with blossoms, giant butterflies and dragonflies which are painted bigger than the people, as if creating a hymn in worship of nature. The decorative solution in the painting has distinctly Art Nouveau-like elements.
