From his experience as a pupil of Guido Viaro (1897-1971), markedly Expressionist, from the School of Music and Fine Arts of Paraná and from his studies in Paris, Domício Pedroso developed his own style, steadfast in urban topics, above all the favelas. Sometimes colorful and sometimes monochromatic, Domitian's favelas convey the atmosphere of places that, in addition to representing social and urban problems, are also home to thousands of people. The favelas are big or small, new or old, colored or without any color, happy or sad.
