Filbert Street Football Ground, Leicester

Filbert Street football ground has also been known as Walnut Street and the City Stadium.Leicester Fosse (later City) played its first game there in 1891 and it remained home until 2002 when the club moved a short distance to a new ground. Part of the Filbert Street site has been replaced by student accommodation.
