Film poster for the Hindi film 'Heera' (proper noun in this case ; translation- Heera), released in the year 1973.
The poster has been made with the cut and paste technique, using multiple photographic cut-outs from the stills of the film, collaged together with text to bring out the final poster. In the frame of the poster, the background image shows a rocky terrain with a temple and multiple armed dacoits riding their horses. Overlapping with this image is an image of the decent man-turned dacoit Heera, played by Sunil Dutt. Its a half-length cut out in which he is wearing a lose shirt, a chest belt with bullets on it and he is holding a blood-stained sword with both his hands. His face exudes anger and has some painted blood on the right cheek.
Towards the left is a half-length cut out of the character Balwant, played by Shatrughan Sinha. In the image, he is dressed in a black attire, sporting a kurta, turban, waist belt and is holding a rifle with both his hands. There is painted blood on his chest, his right cheek and his forehead. Under the image of these two characters, there is a cut out of dacoit riders in the centre and right under it is the name of the film in Devanagari script. Towards the bottom left corner is a bust-length cut out of the character Asha, played by Asha Parekh. Towards the right, just above the film's name is a bust-length cut out of the character Heera and a female character (unidentified), where the female, dressed in a red attire and jewellery is leaning backwards onto Heera's shoulder. Right under the film's name are credits reading 'PRODUCED & DIRECTED BY: SULTAN AHMED', 'MUSIC: KALYANJI ANANDJI'. On the top left corner of the comopsition is the text 'SULTAN PRODUCTIONS'. Along the right border of the composition is 'NARAYAN ARTIST'. The entire composition is held inside a black, line border.
