After rediscovering the 1935 Will Rogers Highway logo, Joplin man Darrell Ray resurrected the design and advocated for it to be used on granite markers along the road. The first of these markers was installed in Vinita, Oklahoma in 1999. Pictured are Darrell Ray, Bob McSpadden, and Don Gray.
