During a three-year European tour which began in 1875, the Singers raised funds to build Jubilee Hall, which is still today the primary residence hall on Fisk’s campus. In this hall hangs a floor-to-ceiling portrait of the original Jubilee Singers that was gifted to the university by Queen Victoria.
