Flag of Great Kikinda District - based on the original flag, painter Pavle Simić painted a new District flag in 1867 commissioned by Djordje Radak. The flag created in 1800 was taken by Kikinda soldiers - soldiers of Austrian Army in the war against Napoleon. The flag was kept in the orthodox church but it was lost during the rebellion in 1848.
