This illustration shows a bird’s-eye view of a boy and girl pushing a handcart full of flowers. Chihiro, whose love of cinema began in her youth, would often create illustrations from various perspectives that call to mind the kind of camerawork used in movies. The last scene of the French film Quatorze Juillet, which Chihiro saw in her teens, may even have been the source of inspiration for this work.
