On Braniff’s earliest aircraft, the DC-3 and DC-4, Flight Hostesses served meals in a small bowl on a food tray. The bowls, referred to by many hostesses as “dog bowls,” contained a small portion of meat, potatoes, and a green vegetable. The items displayed are authentic and saw service with Braniff during the 1940s and 1950s.
