A number of playbills from Richmond Theatre were found lining a dresser drawer. This photograph shows one from October 15th 1810. This was during the Napoleonic Wars and the programme for the evening includes a recitation of Character of Buonaparte, written by G. Colman esq., presumably George Colman the Younger (1762-1836) an English dramatist and writer.
