This unpainted wooden sculpture, of small dimensions, depicts a hermit in a seated position with a hat on his head. The head is notably large and disproportionate. The beard is extremely long, extending to the base of the sculpture. This piece is part of a larger collection of sculptures by the artist, currently housed in the Kalisz Regional Museum.
