Formal dress (white tie) worn by Walther von Hallwyl. Tailored 1912 by the firm Zittorin & Lundvik at Fredsgatan 2 in Stockholm. The Jacket and trousers cost 195 SEK. In the image the dress is mounted with a black vest, as was customary when the formal dress was used in an all-male environment. At the neck hangs the Order of St John and the Order of the Polar Star, on the right chest the stars of the same orders, across the chest the sash for a Knight templar of the Swedish Order of Freemasons.
