Clockwise, from the top: Confectionary container, teapot, teapot with flat lid, vase.
All four objects were produced in the 1920s/early 1930s in the Haël Workshops for Artistic Ceramics.

“Haël” ceramics were directly and virulently attacked by National Socialists on account of their modernist design idiom. In 1935, the National Socialist propaganda newspaper Der Angriff published a photograph of this confectionary container, these two teapots and other items produced by “Haël.” They described them as objects for the “Chamber of Horrors.”
