The permanent exhibition at the Katowice History Museum on Rymarska Street reminds us of the building's former function. It originally housed a laundry with a mangle and a bathhouse. In the modernly equipped facility, women from Nikiszowiec could wash, dry and mangle their laundry free of charge, as well as take a bath.
