In the archaeological excavations of Tor Paterno a part of a painted ceiling of the highest artistic value was recovered, now recomposed in the Archaeological Historical Museum of Castel Porziano. The ceiling features naturalistic and zoomorphic ornamental motifs and small Egyptian-inspired figures.
