Three-piece set: jacket, waistcoat and trousers. Jacket and trousers in blue damask with moiré effect. The waistcoat, made of a silver material with colored silks, is decorated with stitched flower motifs. It fastens with laminated metal buttons.

The French-style of men's outfit was made up of a jacket, waistcoat and trousers. The square neck, wide cuffs, and deep side folds are typical of men's clothing in the mid-18th century. The jacket is not fastened, revealing the inner waistcoat with coattails that are somewhat shorter than those on the jacket. Although it could be buttoned to the waist, in around 1750, it was fashionable to only button three of the buttons at waist-level, perhaps with the aim of showing off the lace of the shirt.
