From China to Veracruz

At the 8th Emilio Carballido Festival, audiences in Veracruz enjoyed the traditional Chinese opera “Hong Niang” (“The Matchmaker”). Discovering China and its performing arts left a mark on and inspired Carballido, as did many other journeys throughout his life.
