The filigree and four-pointed altar cross, set on a pyramidal base. The cross originates from the Church of the Holy Mother of God in Kilia, which is in Odesa region today. The Armenian inscription on its base provides evidence of this: “This cross was made and donated by the God-loving mahdesi Harutiun to the Church of the Holy Mother of God in Kilia in 1193 [1744]).”
