The panel, work of Giovanni Battista Bertini, portrays one of the most famous subjects taken from the Book of Revelation, or rather the "Woman crowned with stars who, persecuted by the infernal Dragon, takes refuge in solitude in the desert". The work was originally destined for the Duomo's apse window, stained-glass window V20, but it was never put in place. Today it is possible to admire it at the Milan Duomo Museum.
