Furnace God Temple

In 1611, Xu Yingyuan, a folk artisan from Boshan, initiated the construction of Boshan "Furnace God Temple", which is still well preserved. In 1617, he took the lead in setting up the first colored glaze industry organization in the country - Jiao Hui of Furnace Industry (炉行醮会).
At the moment, Boshan colored glaze products had been exported to Beijing, Jiangnan and ethnic minority areas in southwest China. Boshan became the domestic production center of colored glaze products.
