The Museum's PNC SmartHome Cleveland becomes the first building in Ohio to achieve passive house certification, the world's most rigorous building energy standard.
David Beach, former executive director of GreenCityBlueLake Institute at The Cleveland Museum of Natural History, shares information about the energy-efficient SmartHome that will be built on the Museum's grounds in the summer of 2011. Beach is joined by Chuck Miller of Doty & Miller Architects and Mark Hoberecht, Certified Passive House Consultant.
