A bone game piece, in the shape of a pyramid, with a square base, decorated on top with a single drilled point inscribed in a circle. Such pieces may have been used in the Middle Ages for a variety of board games; the most popular games were mill and backgammon, the pawns differ in the number of points with which they are decorated, presumably the differences were not, however, an indication of their value in the game
