On pillars between the windows are the pair Genius of Fishing and Genius of Hunting (c. 1824) by Pietro Tenerani, bought by the Jenisch couple during a trip to Italy in 1829. Pietro Tenerani was a student of Antonio Canova and, until 1829, an assistant to Berthel Thorvaldsen. His bust can also be seen in the lower Elbe salon.
