Gentle Breeze in Brilliant Light

In his final years, Insho used the color gold abundantly, producing many vivid and colorful paintings. While this work seems to depict a brilliant universe with gold and white surfaces and lines swaying like aquatic plants, its overall effect is a calm abstract expression. The colors are refreshing, perhaps reflecting Insho's wish to recite poems from his heart. This work proves that Insho's creative spirit remained strong and lively until his final years.
