A photograph of George Cress of Cress' Garage and formerly the Moody and Cress Livery Stable, with an old "The Bowser" gas pump in the Boulder Days parade in 1965. They had been awarded first place in the Perpetual Trophy Award for a business. The gas pump was donated to the Museum and stood (rusting) in the Hoot Cress Redwood Garden outside the Museum for many years.
"The Bowser," referred to as a portable self measuring automobile filling tank, was manufactured by S. F. Bowser & Co. Inc. Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA. This Bowser has an Outfit No: A20208.
