STS-120 Pilot George Zamka responds to a question from the media during a press conference at the slidewire basket landing on Launch Pad 39A. The crew is at NASA's Kennedy Space Center to take part in terminal countdown demonstration test activities that include emergency egress procedures and a simulated launch countdown. Mission STS-120, which will carry the Italian-built U.S. Node 2 to the International Space Station, is targeted for launch on Oct. 23.
