Georgian Shoes

Pair of women's shoes. Uppers made from canvas-work, a bargello pattern in shades of red and green wools. The edges and seams are bound with a red wool/silk tape. White kid lining, leather insole. Leather sole, white rand. Red leather 'Louis' heel. Pointed toe, turned slightly upwards. Deep tongue, latchets prepared for ties. The rand and heel are stitched in white thread.
