Translation of a Chinese Caizi-Jiaren Novel
Geum-Hyang-Jeong-Gi is a translation of the 16th volume of the Chinese novel Geum-Hyang-Jeong, which was written during the reign of the Kangxi Emperor (1662-1722) of the Qing Dynasty. One of the caizi-jiaren novels, which typically feature a romance between a young male scholar and a beautiful woman, Geum-Hyang-Jeong describes how the bond of love developed between the hero and the heroine, Zhong Jingqi and GeMingxia, in the time of Tang Dynasty Emperor Xuanzong.
