순조 16년(1816) 1월 19일에 혜경궁 시책문을 올리는데, "존호를 헌경(獻敬)으로 올린다"고 기록되어 있다. 이 어보는 이때 만든 것이다. 헌경(獻敬)은 고종 36년에 '인철계성(仁哲啓聖)'이란 휘호와 함께 시호로 다시 올려졌다.
