Golondrina Complex Tool Kit

The Golondrina Complex tool kit would have been used for hunting small game and harvesting plants. The shapes of the Golondrina (left) and Angostura (second from left) points reflect a development from the earlier Clovis and Folsom traditions. The triangular Clear Fork tool was an adze for shaping wood and had other uses. This flake knife, created by a specialized technique known as sequent flaking indicates a shift in plant collection, particularly desert succulents such as prickly pear, sotol, and lechequilla.
