Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna of Russia (1875-1960) was the elder daughter and fourth child of Emperor Alexander III of Russia and Empress Maria Feodorovna of Russia, and the sister of the assassinated Tsar Nicholas II
After the fall of the Russian monarchy in February 1917 she fled her home country to settle in the United Kingdom. She was a grace-and-favour resident in Wilderness House at Hampton Court Palace from 1937 to 1960
