Grandjean de Montigny fountain at Praça Afonso Viseu (Alto da Boa Vista, Rio de Janeiro). It was designed by the French architect Auguste Henri Grandjean de Montigny. Inaugurated in 1850 at Praça Onze, it was transferred to Alto da Boa Vista at 1943 due to the opening of Avenida Presidente Vargas. Photo taken by Maria Isabel Ribeiro Lenzi.
