The Great Bear Rainforest is the largest remaining intact temperate rainforest on earth. Located on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada, it covers 6.4 million hectares encompassing hundreds of islands, mountains, glaciers, rivers, deep fjords and forests with some of the largest and oldest trees on earth. It is one of the world’s last great wilderness areas and home to the iconic “Spirit Bear”, grizzly bears, wolves, salmon, orcas, humpback and fin whales, and indigenous cultures.
