Stunningly beautiful network map showing how far Green Line Coaches reached outside of the central London area. The marketing technique of promoting use of the transport network for days out into the immediate suburbs was common in the 1920s and 1930s, but it was the advent of the coach services that took it to another level. Highly decorative maps that not only told you where you could go but enticed you with illustrations became the norm. And it worked in reverse as well, with the technique being used to promote using the transport network to visit sights within London, such as the zoo or the British Museum.
