Green shield-moss Buxbaumia viridis

Buxbaumia viridis growing on a fir log in the proposed "Stanków Łaz" nature reserve in the Beskid Niski. The valleys of local streams provide excellent habitat for this protected and endangered moss, which avoids managed forests.
