Depiction in marble of a young Roman girl with a fringe of ringlets and two longer locks at each side, nicknamed 'the little gypsy girl'. This hairstyle may be no more than simply a local fashion of the time. Her ears have two holes for inserting earrings, a normal feature of Roman statuary, in addition to the use of paint, which has in this case been lost.
