Hamburg and Archaeology: Urn

This urn with the cremated remains of a child, who died around 3 000 years ago, comes from a garden plot along the railroad embankments near Elbgaustrasse. More urns were dug up in the neighbouring plots. So, in the Iron Age, there must have been a large urnfield here.
