Hand Holding Bowl Pipe from J. Sommer, the bowl is made of a type of white clay mineral called Sepiolite or, as it was widely known in German, "Meerschaum". The tube is made of celluloid, and some smoke residue is found inside the tube.

The pipe comes with a leather box. The inside of the box is lined with red cloth and a gold trademark stamp. The trademark features "J.SOMMER FAB Paris” in the middle and surround with “Aux Carriers D'ecume J. Sommer Fab Paris, 13 &15 Passage Des Princes” indicating the address of the shop in Paris. Another gold stamp found on the narrow area for the tube reads “Medailles D'or 1878, 1889 & 1900” indicating the gold medals which the producer was awarded in the written years.

This pipe is assumed to be from King Prajadhipok's personal collection.
