Hardwick House, Whitchurch-on-Thames, Oxfordshire

This photograph of Hardwick House shows a view of the east elevation from the lawn. The house was probably built by Richard Lybbe, who purchased the manor from the Hardwick family in 1526. The house was partly damaged during the Civil War and additions were made soon afterwards.
