As a crop, hemp has a wide range of uses. Its seeds are highly nutritious, and its fibers can be used to weave a wide range of items, from clothes to bags. Evidence of its use can be found all over the world, from traces of hemp cord in pottery found in modern-day Taiwan to a piece of hemp fabric found in Peru, all of which date back to 8,000 BC.
