An artist’s representation of Homestead, published in an 1892 issue of Harper’s Weekly that covered the Homestead Strike. The image shows several National Guardsmen patrolling the streets of Homestead after being sent in by Governor Pattison. The building with the flag in the background is the Bost Building, headquarters for the Amalgamated Association during the strike, which stands today as a National Historic Landmark and headquarters of Rivers of Steel.
