Heart affair

Heart failure cases are increasing, while there’s a chronic lack of donors. How can we do? Awaiting a transplant, patients may benefit of a total artificial heart implantation (TAH, CardioWest). The CardioWest is composed by two ventricles, four valves and wire-reinforced air conduits, connected to an external mobile console. In this way the patient is able to move normally.
