This wooden sculpture shows traces of brown and red paint. It depicts the motif of the Sacred Heart of Christ, surrounded by thorns, with blood gushing from the top. The exhibit was part of a missionary cross in one of the parishes in the Kalisz region.
Such crosses can be found near every church. They are often large in size, and their symbolism can be interpreted as a sign of conversion and the renewal of the parish community.
