In the 1952 games, Brazil was Helsinki with 108 athletes, being 5 women. We have conquered two bronzes, with Tetsuo Okamoto, swimming, and José Telles da Conceição, from the height height.
There was also a legend of the Brazilian sport: in the triple jump, Adhemar Ferreira da Silva conquered the gold medal, made that he repeated four years later in Melbourne
1956.
In this edition, Brazil was present with 48 athletes, being a woman.
