Indonesian artist Heri Dono is representing Indonesia at the 56th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia with an exhibition entitled Voyage Trokomod. The title is a combination of the French word for travel, Voyage, and Trokomod, a portmanteau of Trojan Horse and Komodo. The work reflects on globalism, colonialism, and cultural differences. The main piece is a 4-meter-tall ship in the shape of a dragon.
