Hero Machine

We teamed up with children from Shaftesbury Park, St Joseph’s Catholic and Falconbrook primary schools to think about what it means to be a ‘Hero’. The children explored the history of Battersea’s extraordinary residents and designed their own heroes.

Artwork and creative writing by the children appeared as series of books and Hero Machine installation at Battersea Arts Centre. Using the children's own work, the installation was designed and built by Pencil and Help.
